American model turned actress Rachel Nichols was born on January 8th 1980 in Augusta, Maine. Rachel Nichols had a happy childhood enjoying time outdoors, especially in the water, practicing her favourite sports windsurfing and sailing. Rachel Nichols confesses growing up she was a dorky and shy, "skinny, flat-chested girl with long arms”. But that turned around by the time she started university.
